At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do, and your role will make sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day on our Dyson.com web shop. We run our eCommerce business using the eCom equation - traffic X conversion X average order value (AOV) - and this role will have accountability setting and delivering plans across all three of these areas to deliver top and bottom-line targets.

The E-Commerce Manager Portugal will be at the helm of driving continuous the Dyson eCom business in Portugal and will direct and deliver the strategic direction of the digital business. You are expected to work closely with a network of digital, marketing, supply, finance, and sales colleagues based in Dyson’s global as well as local functions. Working with a cross functional team you will be accountable for the performance of our Dyson.com business.

About the role

Dyson is a fast paced and agile company. The below is an example of your main week to week accountabilities but is not a complete list.

  • Set and deliver the strategy and direction for Dyson.com in Portugal and work cross-functionally to bring this to life.

  • P&L Management: work with partners across the business to deliver annual, quarterly and weekly targets. Within this work you’ll need to partner closely with supply chain on stock availability and plans.

  • Oversee Business Planning for web business: you will deliver inputs into Dyson’s annual business planning cycle - forecasting, budget planning, in month estimates etc.

  • Optimise eCom Equation: work in partnership with marketing on the right traffic plans for the business across paid, owned and earned, ensuring we’re driving conversion with people on our website and manage content & consumer journeys to optimise AOV.

  • Report and Analyse: you will oversee and report daily/ weekly eCom equation performance and analyse sales performance on SKU level to optimise overall sales.

  • Project lead for key season moments: ensure we have great cross functional plans for key peak moments on the web business.

  • Be voice of market to group ensuring right input is given in timely manner to commercial targets, NPD and peak planning.

  • Test and Learn: collaborate with media and UX team to test and learn new ways to drive traffic, conversion and Average Order Value.

  • Deliver industry leading owner experience: collaborate with UX team to ensure we are delighting owners at every touchpoint with Dyson.

  • Become a Digital expert within the broader Iberia business sharing digital trends, insights and recommended actions.

Skills/Attributes

  • Strategic Thinker: proven ability to set and implement digital strategy and ensure its execution.

  • Proven project leader and ability to motivate and engage with cross-functional teams.

  • Owner first Mind-set: You’ll Understand and think first and foremost what these plans and actions do for our owners.

  • Comfortable with complexity and change: Ability to navigate matrix structure and react quickly to make changes based on latest market trends and dynamics. You’ll be comfortable working with diverse teams across the organisation and navigating a matrixed organisation.

  • Min. 2-4 years in commercial roles with successful track record in a fast-paced sales driven environment.

  • Experience in eCom and digital environment, ideally in premium branded products or retail is preferable.

  • Prior knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, AEM and Hybris would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Language skills: Business proficiency in English, Portuguese a plus.
