Dyson Turkey
Dyson established our first office in Turkey, to be based in Istanbul on October 2018 and Dyson Turkey has been launched in April 2019. Beginning with triple launch, Dyson relentlessly invests to grow in Turkish Floor Care, Hair Care and Environmental Care categories. The company, at the beginning with a small leadership team and full support from the Regional Hub and Group, is a growing company with the spirit of an energetic and passionate start-up. The exciting growth journey of Dyson in Turkey started and continues.
About the role
We are looking for an E-Commerce Manager to manage the performance of the Dyson consumer business for Turkey via our online direct channels.
This includes ensuring a smooth in-store product launches, planning successful promotions across all online retailers at the right time, and by taking ownership of the inventory planning and forecasting, all following from sound data analysis and reporting.
Accountabilities
The role is split into four main areas:
Business planning
Sales Planning and stock coverage
Managing Direct online Channels
Reporting and Analysis
The E-Commerce Manager will be responsible for continuous optimisation of the online direct marketing, and merchandising plans and managing a successful sales calendar execution – across all the online landscape. This position will closely monitor stock and sell through, and updates inventory so we’re never out of stock. Selecting the right product range in alignment with marketing, manage and update product SKU info. E-Com Manager’s insights into which products perform well, and which don’t, lead to decide what next step to take, and this position will take ownership in implementing these changes successfully end to end.
About you
You’re commercially switched on, and you’ll either come from a similar role, or you could come from a project management, key account management or sales management role within retail.
What’s important is that you’re a self-starter with strong marketing and planning skills, who can take complex information/data and translate that into insights that will have far-reaching impact on our direct-to-consumer business. Great communication skills – written and verbal – in English is a must.
Experience
Evidence of having created high performing retail teams that have delivered executional excellence.
Shows evidence of having grasped the key selling skills (listening/questioning, adapting and closing), and able to demonstrate how those have been central to what the candidate has achieved in previous roles
Track record of having earned respect and confidence of retail sales teams in previous roles
Skills
Excellent organisational and planning ability
Written and verbal skills - able to communicate at all levels of the business
Presentation skills – able to concepts confidently in front of a varied audience and to key internal and external stake holders including retailers and Dyson distributors
