About the Role: 

The Dyson Ecommerce Operations Manager will oversee the performance, efficiencies, and processes of the direct business to be a single point of contact over 4 key areas; Inventory, Logistics, Fulfilment and Reporting/KPI’s across all 5 Direct Sales channels. They will work to analyze directs organizational process and will find ways to enhance productivity. This role works with a wide array of cross functional partners and US Leadership to ensure the Direct business delivers its financial plan.

Develop and manage relationships

  • Represent Dyson; demonstrate exemplary execution of Dyson principles.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of customers; ability to communicate that knowledge, serving as the voice of the customer internally. 
  • Establish and execute plans regarding fulfilment, supply and demand

Develop and manage relationships and processes with established customer team and internal business partners. 

  • Seek out decision makers and influencers. Create positive working relationships across all levels of the business. 
  • Work with Logistics, Supply, Logistics, Demand & Channel to ensure plans are supported
  • Accountability for all business processes related to the position, for example logistics, supply, legal, media, customer service, and all related administrative due diligence. 

Other Requirements 

  • Full driver’s license with good driving record 
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs 
  • Ability to travel up to 25% 

About You: 

  • Bachelor’s degree required- Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics preferred
  • 5+ years forecasting and/or planning experience required
  • 2+ years’ experience managing a team to drive results required
  • SAP/Anaplan/Kinaxis experience strongly preferred
  • Diverse experience supporting sales, operations, trade marketing, category management, and financial analysis required 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to partner effectively with Sales and Supply Chain teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong aptitude for business math and numerical reasoning, and creative problem solving
  • Adaptable/flexible – able to multi task
  • Proven ability to positively influence buyers and management level decision makers to achieve customer business volume plan 
  • P&L proficiency and ability to optimize return on investment - ability to determine short- and longer-term sustainable outcomes rooted in analysis.
  • Excellent presentation and influence skills 
  • Excellent math and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency in Excel 
  • Demonstrate competency with internal and syndicated systems, data and content organization to support the needs of sales management 
  • Passion for the technology, and hunger to develop successful customer team 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects 
  • Accountable – takes ownership of business, customers, and relationships
