About the role

The ambition for our local in market Dyson website business is huge. Our goal is to consistently grow our eCommerce business double digit year on year for next 5 years. Dyson.com is where all Dyson initiatives come together and is the single most visible touch point to our consumers. Dyson is about better ideas and better technologies, as the eCom Trading Manager you will play a role in bringing our eCom and digital plans and operations for Dyson.com in Turkey Market.
At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do and your role will make sure that owners are getting fantastic experience, every day on our Dyson.com web shop. We run our eCommerce business using the eCom equation- traffic, conversion, average order value (AOV) and this role will have tasks & responsibilities working across all three of these areas in order to deliver top and bottom line targets.
The E-Commerce trading Manager will be central to driving the trading performance of the Dyson.com business in Turkey Market. You are expected to work closely with a network of marketing, supply chain and analytics colleague based in Dyson’s global as well as local functions in driving performance.
Dyson is a fast paced and agile company with a lot of change. The below is an example of your main accountabilities but is not a complete list.
Set the agenda for day to day trading of Dyson.com this ranges from running trading meetings, reporting weekly performance to leading development and delivery of plans to increase sales.
Own Site Revenue Performance: You will be accountable for site net revenue performance and focus closely on traffic, conversion and average order value within the eCom equation.
Stock and Forecasting: You will own the forecasting process end to end for the Dyson.com business. You will also be commercial leader for inventory for day to day to maximise availability on Dyson.com
Business Planning: You will play a central role in business planning and monthly reporting, working closely with finance on giving in month estimates on vol, GM and GMPU the drivers for this and recommended actions to improve performance.
Activation Calendar: You will be team owner for the eCom Activation calendar, working with marketing on national and bespoke plans and campaigns for Dyson.com to maximise revenue. This will include end to end management of Direct exclusive activity and the relevant process’s such as our pricing policy.
Traffic and Online Merchandising Plans: You will work closely with performance/ digital marketing and the merchandising and content teams to ensure consumer journeys are optimised and reflect the latest stock position.
Conversion Focus: You will work closely with stakeholders to review trends and recommend actions to improve conversion with key focus on the checkout experience.
Partner with the RACE programme which identifies insights and quick wins to improve day to day trading
Project lead for key season moments: Ensure we have great cross functional plans for key peak moments on the web business- eg Summer Heat Wave, Black Friday etc.
Owner first Mind-set: You’ll think first and foremost what these plans and actions do for our owner experience.
Comfortable with complexity and change: Comfortable adapting quickly and often to changes.
Ability to navigate matrix stricture: You’ll be comfortable working with diverse teams across the organisation and navigating a matrixed organisation.
eCommerce Expert: min 2-3 years’ management experience and using eCom systems Experience with AEM and Hybris is preferable
Strong excel skills, comfortable making fast data based decisions
Prior knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Decibel would be advantageous but not essential.
Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in a simple laymen’s terminology.
Keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting
Has a bias for action and ability get things done with a positive attitude.
