About the role

The e-Merchandising Specialist will be responsible for the merchandising of the web shop in Portugal. You will work closely with the eCom team Iberia and will deliver projects, campaigns, optimisations and bug fixes to drive the continuous improvement of the onsite experience and support the growth of the Web shop channel as part of the wider Iberian Direct business.

Working with a cross functional team both within market and the HQ, he/she will deliver campaigns, content and functional enhancements. Relevant KPIs are conversion rate, average order value, SEO performance, digital NPS and the general web shop performance (Vol, GM and TP).

  • Implementing merchandising content across a range of Dyson platforms, with primary focus on

  • Working with the Ecommerce and marketing teams to brief content requirements to our in-house and 3rd party creative teams.

  • Ensuring accuracy and perfect execution of all merchandising items including copy, image, and video content.

  • Create perfect UX by ensuring coherent onsite journeys and pages.

  • Monitoring website performance via global and local analytics tools and suggesting improvements to content and layout to maximize traffic and sales opportunities.

  • Assist the Digital Marketing team to ensure web traffic is being directed to the correct landing pages on

  • Working closely with marketing and category teams to make sure content is reviewed and amended correctly, in line with Dyson brand guidelines.

  • Support the Ecommerce and Digital team with ad hoc tasks, including but not limited to website data analysis, reporting, and briefing.

  • Coordinate website stock levels with Logistic department.

  • Organise and coordinate specific Ecommerce projects with our central or third party, including payments, AB testing, etc.

  • To provide ad hoc support for other Dyson channels, regarding website assets (imagery, text, specifications etc).

About you

  • Strong customer mind-set: you’ll understand and think first and foremost what your actions mean for our shoppers and owners.

  • Previous experience working in digital and eCommerce content management.

  • Prior knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, AEM and Hybris a plus.

  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate technical issues in a simple laymen’s terminology.

  • Keen eye for detail particularly within a digital setting.

  • Resilient and persistent with a willingness to get things done with a positive attitude.

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese. Spanish a plus.

  • Project management skills: able to break down a goal into manageable tasks and work efficiently to deadline.

  • You’ll be comfortable working in a fast and agile environment dealing with ambiguity.

  • Collaborative: you’re comfortable collaborating will colleagues and peers across countries, cultures, and levels of seniority.
