About the role

Responsible for managing and delivering the financial goals for key Dyson Ecommerce Retail accounts
  • Seek out decision makers and influencers, to best manage the business. Create positive working relationships across all levels of their organizations
  • Deliver and exceed the growth objectives for finished goods and parts across product categories
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Sales, and Finance to forecast and deliver sales/margin targets
  • Maintain customer forecast through the required tools (Anaplan) to ensure full visibility and accuracy of expected plans and sales
  • Manage the key ecommerce retail customers to deliver against an agreed set of volume and value KPIs to achieve market share targets
  • Develop an annual account plan that sets out the key strategic aims for Dyson and the retailer
  • Lead retailer product margin and broader terms negotiations
Support Dyson’s retail partners to deliver best in class digital experience execution
  • Work with ecommerce content teams to execute Dyson product pages to the highest standard online
  • Ensure digital experience execution maximizes the shopper journey
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell buyers within the customer journeys, partner with retailers to execute optimizations
Develop and manage relationships and processes with internal business partners.
  • Seek out decision makers and influencers. Create positive working relationships across all levels of the business
  • Partner with internal operations and supply chain teams to ensure retailer order processing and fulfilment SLAs are met
  • Be an advocate internally for our retail partners and ensure that we are delivering the best possible customer experience

  • Ensure that all Dyson communications on approved retailer web sites are compliant from an IP, legal & product team perspective
  • Perform QA on all product and offer launches online
  • Relish the opportunities to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role

About you

  • 5 years’ experience ecommerce account management or ecommerce retail buying
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience of working and aligning cross-functional business partners     
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for channels, retailers, and products
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills, both at the account and product sales levels
  • High degree of commercial acumen and can demonstrate a history in driving sustainable profit growth
  • Strategically minded, with the ability to plan for the long term as well as execute short term initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with demonstrable experience of working and aligning cross-functional business partners    
  • Good customer and cross functional interface capabilities
  • Excellent presentation and influencing skills
  • P&L proficiency and ability to optimize return on investment
  • Ability to accurately forecast demand
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced proficiency in Excel
