About us
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mobile Application Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technology and a strong desire to learn and contribute to the testing of our mobile applications.
About the role
- Assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases for mobile applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and assist in ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct functional testing of mobile applications on different platforms (e.g., iOS, Android) and devices.
- Learn and implement basic automated test scripts using appropriate mobile testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, Appium).
- Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects, and contribute to their resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and learn about testability and test coverage concepts.
- Contribute to performance, usability, and compatibility testing of mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve basic software issues.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimally 2 years of software text experience, ideally in app, with basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (e.g., iOS, Android) and their respective ecosystems.
- Exposure to mobile application development concepts and tools.
- Some experience or coursework in automated testing frameworks and tools for mobile applications.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
