About The Role

  • Own and manage Tests in PLM system for assigned mechanical tests (Validation, Development and Investigative). Responsible for updating key items to PLM, e.g. creating Test, linking Requirement & TM, creating Test Reports, contributing to Problem Reports.   Ensure all test activities are carried out in a timely manner in accordance to test plan. Responsible to produce periodical updates consisting of test progress and test results.

  • Manage, operate and upkeep the equipment and facility assigned by the Test Section Lead. This includes maintenance of test area, test rigs and lab equipment including calibration schedule and records, as well as general upkeep to ensure a safe and clean work place in accordance to the Safety & Health Policy.

  • Ensure all the test activities are carried out strictly according to the appropriate test standards, which cover international standards (IEC, ASTM, etc.) and internal standards (DTM: Dyson Test Method).

  • Support Test Engineer in revision or development of test methods (DTM) when new test method is necessary. Assist in modification or development of new test rigs in parallel with development of test methods.

About You

  • Candidate with more than 3 years (s) of working experience with mechanical/electrical/chemical background, involving testing or R&D environment is preferred.

  • Good management & planning skills. Must be capable of working under pressure, commit to tight deadlines and able to think and react promptly.

  • Analytical techniques including GMCS. Self-driven with strong attention to detail and must possess a character of high integrity.

  • Proven experience in working and performing chemistry experiments using compressed gasses. Having knowledge in the chemistry lab and maintaining COSHH documentation.

  • Able to work in shift rotation.
