Our Finance team manages and balances complex budgets across our global business. Multiple regions, multiple categories and covering all aspects of the finance cycle. The team provides control and stability, which enables our family-owned business to be agile, adapt to constant change and focus on growth. About the role
Our Finance Graduates are ambitious, resilient and tenacious. During the programme Dyson will train you in everything finance. You will spend two years rotating through placements in different areas of finance across the business – supporting our markets, engineers, and commercial strategies. Placements will be across a range of teams in Germany so you’ll need to be flexible to undertake whatever comes your way.
At the end of the two years, high performing graduates will have the opportunity to accelerate onto a future leaders programme with considerable development opportunities, including international secondments.During the programme, you’ll need to demonstrate quick learning and adaptability, and you’ll need to be able to balance the demands of work and study alongside each other. You can expect big responsibility and plenty of autonomy. It’s not easy but over the course of the two years you’ll be supported with a development framework, enabling professional growth, training and opportunities to hone your skills and evolve your knowledge.
We are looking for applications from a finance or
accounting related degree background. You’ll need to have (or be expecting) a
2.1 or European equivalent award. But it is not just about education, we really
need to see what you’ve achieved.
Whether it’s through internships, work experience or extra-curricular activities, you’ll be expected to evidence working in high performing teams but stand out as an impressive individual contributor. You’ll also need to demonstrate a commitment to a career in finance.
To succeed on this programme, you’ll need to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, be able to think on your feet and deliver exceptional results. You should be able to bring the best out of a team that are interested in numbers, think commercially and communicate insights that influences how Dyson does business whilst also balancing the need for appropriate control and continuous process improvement.
