Event Coordinator

About the role:

The key focus of the Events Coordinator is to support and assist the Events team in the execution of the Events plans across the Australia & New Zealand market and manage the day to day events planning.

Main Responsibilities:

Event Coordination

  • Assisting with all aspects of events, from planning through to implementation and post-event follow up of Dyson events

  • Event coordination, including sourcing and managing a range of vendors including staffing, venues, production, AV, catering

  • Event budgets and PO management, including raising and receipting event costs, and ensuring all trackers are reconciled weekly

  • Management of all relevant communications, including WIP documents, meeting agendas, runsheet and post event report forms

  • Participation in event activations (requires weekend work/ travel)

  • With all events – ensure the look and feel is on brand and to the Dyson standard


  • Assist the team with the development of presentations and research

  • Minute taking at relevant meetings where required

  • Supporting the Events team with general administration duties

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in event management and planning

  • Experience in developing and implementing effective communications, written and verbal

  • Excellent organisational and time management ability

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

  • Assertive, engaging, driven and dynamic

  • Rational and common-sense thinker with a can-do approach/attitude

  • Team player who is flexible and willing to go above and beyond

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Driver's license
