To create this positive, professional, safe and progressive working environment the estates team needs strong teams in key areas – Facilities is one of these areas. Our Site Services team is a key part of ensuring campuses are supported efficiently, providing vital porterage and support services.
About The Role
As a member of the Site Services team you will support the Estates Facilities function in a variety physical work around the campus internally and externally, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Porterage of parcels, equipment & furniture using pallet/sack trucks and trollies
Confidential waste collection, skip emptying & cardboard bailing
Driving company vehicles & conducting vehicle checks
Locker barrel changes
Setting up rooms/areas for events
Assembly of furniture
Escorting of visitors and contractors
Reception Pool maintenance
Winter gritting and snow clearance
About You
Working in an operational team environment
Confident with use of IT
Customer service
Working outside
Driving License desirable
Forklift truck license desirable or willingness to learn
IOSHH Working Safely desirable
