Description

To be the lead finance and performance analyst for the Ireland business and act as the local market expert for Anaplan

Accountabilities

Main Accountabilities:
  • Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly performance reporting and analysis.
  • Design and maintain weekly sales out, trade stocks & weeks cover reporting whilst highlighting appropriate risks/opps.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Country Manager with insight and analysis ahead of monthly GB&I/European Exec reviews.
  • Lead monthly Customer Business Reviews with all Direct and Retail accounts which enable quick and robust strategic decision making.
  • Passionately seek out consumer, customer and category insight to enable the business to make critical strategic decisions.
  • Design and deliver commercial models and analysis to assist with the development of Dyson Ireland go to market strategies to ensure the business is fit for the future and delivering effective profitable growth.

Business Partnering and Forecasting:
  • Act as the local market expert of the Commercial Planning tool Anaplan and be the owner of the monthly LE process. 
  • Business partner Direct & Retail Account Managers to build robust sell out and sell in plans with a focus on YoY performance, activation plans and recent trends.
  • Support the Finance Manager with building and uploading LE & Budget submissions, ensuring that the P&L is balanced and accurate.

Fulfil other duties as required:
  • Operate as a Business Partner to the Ireland leadership team including Country Manager on a day to day basis.
  • Work closely with Country Manager on adhoc commercial modelling and internal meeting preparation to board level.
  • Actively seek to improve data integrity and ensure sales out data is reliable and accurate.
  • Perform post-campaign analysis (eg. Money Back Guarantee) to assess performance against target and derive key learnings.

Skills

Experience:
  • Strong excel and system skills which promote efficient working
  • Experienced SAP user a plus
  • Extensive commercial modelling experience (design and analysis) 
  • Experience working in a finance analyst role, preferably within the Electrical or FMCG industries.
  • Experience influencing and leading across functions, including at a senior level.
  • Degree of 2:1 or above
