Finance Manager, FP&A

About the role:

  • Lead, consolidate and roll up of forecast and planning process for the Americas region with a focus on US and Mexico 
  • Review monthly forecast for completeness, accuracy, and coordinate with markets to understand drivers, risks, and opportunities 
  • Coordinate with Head of FP&A and VP of Finance on forecasting requirements, expectations and collaborate with key markets to ensure smooth forecast process 
  • Prepare standardized financial statements and reports and ensure accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements to US and Mexico Markets 
  • Partner with Group Finance to align on long term financial planning and target setting 
  • Coordination, execution and management of financial close process 
  • Present accurate monthly reporting of performance detailing variances to budget and forecast 
  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner for the US and Mexico markets as well as with key stakeholders of the business 
  • Work with Financial Analyst to complete Americas working capital planning, reporting & analysis 
  • Long term strategic modeling support for the US and Mexico markets
  • Complete standard and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions and based on current needs of business for US and Mexico 
  • Champion the Dyson finance strategy core pillars of integrity and commercial success 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and cross functional ways of working 
  • Team with Americas and Global Finance organization to design best practices and standardized KPI reporting 
  • Serve as a mentor and help develop Financial Analyst

About you:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in finance operations with strong analytical experience and P&L ownership
  • BS/BA required; MBA/CPA a plus 
  • Prior Financial Analysis and forecasting experience a must 
  • Strong knowledge of modeling/forecasting, planning, budgeting, management reporting
  • Prior experience with a technology or consumer products company is preferred
  • Experience with Onstream/SAP 
  • Methodical / driver-based business planning capability
  • Ability to earn trust and confidence of business partners and be a strong team player
  • Previous experience managing multiple initiatives and priorities
  • Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business
  • Ability to clearly present and communicate complex data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
