The Group Finance Systems team is responsible for the Group’s consolidation, planning and reporting system (OneStream) as well as supporting the Group’s ERP system (SAP S4). Agile systems aligned to the way Dyson makes decisions are critical to our business

About the role

Reporting into the Finance Systems manager the Finance Systems Administrator will work alongside the Finance Systems Accountant to support BAU systems tasks. The Finance Systems Administrator is vital to the integrity and flexibility in our systems, to support business needs now and in the future. This extends not just to the consolidation system, but also to the master data in SAP S4 that underpins it.
Accountabilities include:
  • Processing tasks in SAP S4 MDG 
  • Managing BAU and project tasks via Task Manager in OneStream
  • Updating OneStream with metadata changes i.e. new customers, design changes, mapping rules etc
  • Ensuring the alignment of metadata between SAP and OneStream. 
  • Managing user requests for access to OneStream, conducting regular user audits to support a robust control environment 
  • Maintaining reports and forms within OneStream, developing new reports as required to meet the needs of the business 
  • Providing technical support to end users via queries in the Service Now ticketing system
  • Providing month end and planning submission load support, i.e. resolving data load errors
  • Executing SAP access control tasks ensuring that segregation of duty issues are minimised.
  • Participating in the SAP access audit to comply with internal audit controls

About you

  • The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and a pro-active attitude  
  • A-Level or equivalent
  • Previous administration experience would be preferable
  • Prior systems experience is not a pre-requisite but would be ideal
  • A strong willingness to learn
  • Flexible in approach with strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Have the drive and resilience to get the job done, and meet strict deadlines
