GB&I Sales Manager - Education

Business Development
United Kingdom - England Remote

About Us

Much has changed since James Dyson launched the bagless vacuum that started our business. In the time since, Dyson engineers have invented heat-free hand dryers, bladeless fans, long-life LED lighting and even our own digital motor. Today, vacuums represent just half of our sales. And Dyson has even broader ambitions still. With a future technology pipeline spanning 25 years, the next few are set to be our busiest yet.

As Dyson’s most established market, Great Britain and Ireland provides unique challenges to our growth. We thrive on confronting these head on: focusing on new sectors with a more targeted sales and marketing approach to fight off tough competition and provide our customers and theirs the sort of experiences people expect from Dyson.  This builds great camaraderie and cross-team support – and motivates us to set increasingly ambitious targets.

About the Role

A part of our Professional b2b business, our Sales Manager team will epitomise the entrepreneurial spirit that has defined Dyson since day one: ambitious, commercially savvy, and strategically agile. We work with some of the world’s biggest companies, driving innovative ways to put our technology into more locations to enhance both their customers and their employees.  It requires managing multiple networks of Dyson people.  It takes ownership, courage and tough negotiations. Being constantly driven to see clearer solutions and drive better sales.

The GB&I Sales Manager – Education will specifically focus on selling into the Education sector, Public sector and High traffic locations with a laser focus on Dyson Premium Technology being their solution of choice.  Also, in this sector there will be a focus on Clean Air and how Dyson purification can improve Air Quality within these spaces.  Other opportunities will definitely arise for our other products so a true cross category experience is possible in this sector for our customers and theirs alike.  For a lot of people this could be their first interaction with Dyson Technology so it’s important that we ensure we provide a “perfect serve” of this product and all our technologies.
