About the Role
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Analyst to join a rapidly developing and constantly growing cutting-edge technology based business. Dyson is expanding and is looking for experienced staff to take Dyson through its next stage of growth.
1. You will report to an Assistant Manager.
2. Support the Lead Accountant (your line manager) on the following core areas:
Monthly month end close process;
Statutory filing requirements including but not limited to Annual Financial Statements, liaising with the auditors and Group finance team
Preparation and submission of regulatory bodies reports
Financial control and governance including legal and secretarial compliance.
3. Presenting and reviewing monthly financial statements and performance with Site Controller / Finance Director
4. Lead/support on specific tasks and projects. You will also work with the other operations finance teams across different Dyson sites.
5. You will proactively and continuously challenge and improve everything you encounter.
6. Ad hoc analysis of business as required
Skills / Experience required:
Minimum 4 years of external auditing experience and possess strong accounting technical knowledge (UK GAAP and IFRS)
Experience in shared services set up especially at General Ledger area and project management skill will be added advantage
Experience working with SAP S4 Hana and OneStream preferable
Analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle daily operations issues from multiple angles
Proven track record of delivering to objectives in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines and with consistent high standard.
Inherent ability to plan and deliver systematic improvements to financial and business processes.
Strong team player and naturally collaborative in approach to develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships
At ease with ambiguity with the ability to quickly analyse and simplify complex issues and seek out simple but effective ways of getting things done
A change agent, with a sense of urgency, who will challenge the status quo and avoid bureaucracy. Will drive ideas through to implementation in a decisive and determined manner
Self-confident, good communicator and influencer that can work effectively with various stakeholders and able to work independently with high level of integrity.
Organizationally savvy, with the high levels of perception, self-awareness and emotional intelligence required to drive and influence change.
