About the role

Reporting to the Global Head of Integrated Business Planning, the IBP Portfolio Planning Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing a structured process for portfolio planning and defining the criteria and metrics used to evaluate and prioritize projects and products.

The role will also be accountable for preparation of monthly Product Review Meetings, Demand Review Meetings, Supply Review Meeting, Integrated Reconciliation and Regional/Executive Business Review.

Key accountabilities:

  • Assess portfolio performance to ensure its meeting company’s financial and strategic goals.

  • Gather and analyse market data and regional insights to identify trends, opportunities and risks and make informed decisions about portfolio changes and new product developments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input and ensure alignment between portfolio planning and business functions.

  • Monitor and adjust portfolio plans and make necessary adjustments to production, supply and materials planning to ensure successful execution.

  • Prepare and present data, analysis and propose strategic guidance and recommendations regarding portfolio decisions to senior leadership team.

  • A scientific and rigorous approach to solving practical problems using logical thinking.

  • Strong business acumen - you are someone who can quickly absorb a new domain, and recognise what problems are most valuable for our stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate flexibility and resilience in response to constraints and respond constructively to new demands and challenges.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare reports as needed.

  • Knowledge of global market trends, consumer behaviour, and supply chain management concepts.

About you

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in S&OP process in fast moving consumer goods or electronics manufacturer is essential.

  • Several years of experience in production planning, demand and inventory/materials planning within MNC.

  • Awareness of global markets and complex supply chain planning processes.

  • Strong business presentation and communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent analytical ability and Excel spreadsheet skills.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau is an added advantage.

  • Experience in working across functions and cultures.
