About Us

The Global Media Technology Manager supports our Regional and Local Media Teams to achieve their media targets and growth ambition through the right tech fundamentals and capabilities.  The role supports the development of the media tech roadmap and roll out with local and regional teams. From education and training, on-boarding and review to future proofing and adoption of new capabilities. These key roadmap deliverables include media account set up and digital tracking within existing and new channels, media audience activation inline with strategic approach, product feed management into various platforms and evolution towards connected digital / offline attribution. All with the aim towards driving the ability to orchestrate media technologies that support an enriched customer experience and drive the Dyson D2C ambition. The role will also support the everyday ad hoc tech requirements of media teams globally.

The role requires the ability to proactively identify opportunities to leverage data and technology to solve media problems, and importantly influence and deliver expertise at a senior level throughout the business.

About the Role

  • Ensure best practice use of product feeds across Google Shopping, Social Shopping and Affiliates. Support the feed troubleshooting process.
  • Support the roll out of data driven attribution within local market. Responsible for driving testing and the use of attribution-based budget allocation.
  • Oversee the implementation of JavaScript and Server-Side tagging in support of optimal data collection, and to oversee the data configuration necessary to support the required levels of insight.
  • Act as an evangelist for analytics, helping to educate both local markets and agencies about digital/social effectiveness.
  • Lead team to own and develop media & dashboards and reports, identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions to be implemented locally/globally to maximize business growth & return.
  • Develop Dysons creative reporting capabilities to allow for data first and dynamic creative practices along with in-depth reporting capabilities
  • Understand Global, Regional and Local digital strategy and business priorities, in order to ensure technology infrastructure is fit for purpose and provide recommendations against identified opportunities.
  • Work with key media partners to evolve technology offerings to ensure Dyson media stack is future facing. Focus areas evolve include attribution data, single owner view, owner lifetime value & marketing automation.
  • Other associated ad-hoc and ongoing activities that fall within the future remit of the role.

About You

  • Knowledge and experience in DV360, SA360, Campaign Manager, Facebook and digital buying platforms and ad-servers. Plus emerging technologies within media space.
  • Knowledge and experience in feed management, feed management platforms (Channel Advisor) and GMC/Affiliates.
  • Be an expert in advertising technologies such as DMP’s, ad servers, DSPs, ad exchanges, cross-device tracking technologies, website analytics systems, DCO, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of using Google Analytics, Adobe, Data Studio
  • A firm grasp of digital and social KPIs and metrics.
  • Competent with native platform analytics: Facebook insights, Twitter analytics, YouTube analytics.
  • An aptitude for dashboard creation and pulling data from different data sources. Knowledge of Tableau/Looker or similar platforms would be advantageous.
  • Terrific attention to detail, and very high personal standards when it comes to quality, method and rigour.
  • Intellectually curious and tech savvy.
  • Excellent numerical skills.
  • Brilliant interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Good, confident presentational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
