Working in our world-class Research, Design and Development department, our Product Development team takes our ideas to the next level. Through extensive testing and iterations, we relentlessly develop our machines until they reach the levels Dyson expects for manufacturing. We are looking for a Graduate Project Engineer to work alongside leading technical specialists and highly motivated creative people, to fulfil our ambition of being truly different and better than our competitors.
About the role
As a Graduate Project Engineer at Dyson, you will be an integral part of our innovative engineering team, responsible for delivering robust solutions to support the New Product Development team in achieving their project goals. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will contribute to the development of employees within the team, and to ensure project objectives are met.
As a Graduate Project Engineer, you will:
Lead Project Immersion Programme by facilitating engineering learning sessions to ensure smooth transition of engineers to assigned projects, identify potential risks of project immersion, and develop strategies to mitigate and eliminate those risks.
Responsible for job immersion of all new recruits to the department from onboarding to regularisation by :
Plan and execute New Joiners induction programme
Coordinates New Joiners Check-in schedules, prepare check-in reports, presents immersion progress, and propose risk mitigation solutions.
Manage training materials and new joiner’s newsletter publication
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on talent attraction projects to enhance Dyson’s employer brand and position Dyson as an employer of choice.

Our graduate roles are competitive and delivering the next generation of Dyson technology is tough, so you will need to be:
Working towards or have achieved a relevant business or engineering discipline degree.
Sound understanding of basic mechanical/product design principles and the development of products and technologies
Able to evidence how you have applied your technical knowledge to solve problems, either through your internship, university projects or as part of your co-curricular activities
Graduating by August 2023
