About the role 

As our Head of B2B Sales, you will: 

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement annual business plans to achieve GM sales targets and drive B2B sales strategy. 
  • Team Management: Oversee direct and indirect teams, ensuring alignment and fostering a high-performing culture. 
  • Customer Proposals: Create bespoke proposals addressing specific needs for our customers. 
  • Marketing Management: Manage marketing budgets and promotional activities to support B2B sales. 
  • Presentations: Deliver compelling presentations to key customers with clear insights and solutions. 
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders through regular meetings. 
  • Coordination: Coordinate internal departments to drive customer initiatives and ensure seamless execution. 
  • Negotiations: Lead high-level negotiations, aligning objectives and timelines for successful outcomes. 
  • Sales Monitoring: Monitor and forecast sales trends using CRM systems for strategic decision-making. 
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with distribution policies and maintain high execution standards. 

About you 

To succeed in the role, we expect you to have: 

  • Proven Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire teams in a B2B sales environment with a track record of achieving targets. 
  • Sales Expertise: Experience in new specification sales for a high-profile brand in B2B, with advanced forecasting skills. 
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in senior-level negotiations, with 
  • Strong relationship-building abilities. 
  • Strategic Planning: Capability in strategic planning focused on long-term business growth, with strong financial acumen. 
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities. 
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret sales data and market trends for informed decision-making. 
  • Industry Knowledge: Preferred knowledge of the construction and specification industry. 
  • Adaptability: Open-mindedness and adaptability to navigate complex sales challenges. 
  • Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively in high-performing teams and cross-functional environments. 
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required by the role.
