About the Role

The DBS organization provides process and service excellence to support the Company with a goal of delivering strategic value, innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business. The Head of Change and Transformation should be a strong and proactive business leader with a transformational mindset who has strong transformation delivery record, process, technology and innovation expertise, and change management skills. This leader will develop and manage current and new strategic initiatives that support DBS and Company’s growth objectives. As a result, this role will deliver transformative performance improvements, culture of continuous improvement, and elevated customer experience. Success in this role enables enterprise agility, increases the effectiveness and quality of services delivered and drives innovation.

This role is responsible for:

  • Strategy and Leadership: Develop and maintain Change and Transformation strategy for DBS globally in line with the overall company and DBS goals, whilst being flexible to accommodate changing business needs

  • Ensure collaboration between DBS Centres and partners to deliver transformation agenda

  • Champion digital innovation and transformation that enhances customer experience and delivers efficiency, effectiveness and simplification

  • Portfolio management

  • Build the right change and transformation capabilities by supporting learning and personal development of DBS employees

  • Working with HR Business Partner, set the DBS training and development programmes

  • Deliver transformation and embed change

  • Manage a growing team of about 10 change and transformation specialist across the globe

About you

  • An experienced leader in change and transformation coming from a global business within a DBS environment

  • You have a track record of delivery of significant changes to processes, technology and ways of working that delivered value to the business and increased efficiency and effectiveness of DBS organisation

  • You understand how new technologies (RPA, IA, AI, best of breed solutions) can be applied to improve processes, elevate customer experience and drive cost to serve down

  • Experienced in identifying transformation opportunities, process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to legacy issues

  • You have advanced communication skills, with a strong ability to influence others and track record of delivering culture change

  • You are analytical, methodical and commercially astute with ability to use data and insights to accurately inform investment decisions

  • You have good initiative and follow through skills – gets things done on time, with attention to detail, and in a well-organised fashion

  • You understand how people go through a change and the change process

  • You have knowledge of change management principles and methodologies across a portfolio of complex transformation programmes.

  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal, able to work effectively at all levels and have strong stakeholder management skills

  • You can build a collaborative, passionate team within a truly 'start-up' type environment

  • You are energetic and assertive, collaborative, resilient and motivated by challenges  

  • You are comfortable with ambiguity
