About the role

The role of Head of Connected Experience is an exciting opportunity to revolutionise the My Dyson App in an omnichannel landscape. Working collaboratively across functions, you will have the chance to shape the app's future and make it the ultimate hub for Dyson owners. By partnering with the Connected Product Team, your goal will be to develop a content and engagement strategy that positions the My Dyson App as the go-to platform for all Dyson enthusiasts.

One of your key responsibilities will be to craft a global omnichannel strategy that drives registration and brings all owners into the My Dyson community. With a focus on providing a seamless onboarding experience, you will inspire owners to engage with Dyson more frequently. By aligning registration with a perfect onboarding process, you will foster a sense of aspiration among owners, encouraging them to interact with Dyson's products and services on a deeper level.

Collaboration with the Connected team will be essential as you create a vision and strategy for the app's future beyond 2025. Drawing insights from owner feedback and market trends, you will shape the app's features and roadmap, ensuring it remains at the forefront of innovation and user experience. By actively sharing commercial insights, competitor updates, and supporting business cases, you will drive the app's growth and its strategic alignment with the overall Dyson business.

In addition to strategy and feature development, you will play a pivotal role in crafting an engaging content strategy for the My Dyson App. By aligning it with wider goals such as Go-To-Market strategies, direct sales, and customer retention, you will create compelling content that resonates with Dyson owners. Leveraging revenue-driving notification strategies, you will further enhance the app's effectiveness as a commercial channel, contributing to the overall success of Dyson's direct engagement and retention efforts.

As the Head of Connectivity, you will be a leader and influencer, not only within the app's development but also in driving its importance across the global Dyson organisation. Collaborating with senior leaders and finance teams, you will highlight the positive impact of the My Dyson App on the company's bottom line. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to build and develop a talented Commercial Team, fostering a vibrant work environment where meaningful careers are nurtured.

About you

-          8+ years of commercial experience, preferably in product marketing or sales

-          Experience of omnichannel marketing, preferably with app as a channel

-          Experience in owner-focused, consumer-led businesses

-          Strong commercial acumen with a data-driven approach

-          Experience with data architecture and insight teams

-          Expertise in planning and delivering marketing and commercial initiatives

-          Excellent communication, presentation, and team mobilisation skills

-          Effective cross-team management capabilities

-          High-energy self-starter with a results-driven mindset

-          Curiosity, agility, and entrepreneurial flair

-          Engaging and positive attitude

-          Analytical and quick-thinking mindset

-          Familiarity with the Dyson brand, tone of voice, and values
