About the role
As Head of Retail Sales, you are leading the Swiss Sales team. You are responsible for the execution and specification of the sales strategy and development of the Swiss business for the different market segments and product categories resulting into a healthy development of the pipeline.
Profit & Loss responsibility for Indirect retail partnerships in the Swiss market
Responsibility of all commercial elements including pricing, range, customer service and contract negotiations
Accurate submission of financial reports on a monthly basis (Profit & Loss, Latest Estimate)
Forecast submission for sales volumes and forecast accuracy
Networking and building relationships with key stakeholders in the industry
Submitting annual strategy plans for the region via the five-year plan and budget process
Develop and execute together with the Head of Marketing an exciting marketing strategy with a strong focus on events and digital
Manage process for monitoring and interpreting sell out data on a weekly/ monthly basis with clear call to action to improve executions and results
Inspiring, leadership and motivation of the of field and trade marketing team through regular feedback, personal development plans and objectives
About you
Degree educated with a min. of 10 years sales experience in a high performing environment; some of which must be with a strong consumer brand
Proven delivery of sales results
High level experience of customer negotiations
Evidence of budget control and can demonstrate financial expertise
Analytically minded, able to work with KPIs and trackers
Experience in the CH market is an advantage
Methodical business planning capability
Ability to influence at a senior level and gain the confidence across all areas of Dyson
Strong team player capable of building and motivating teams
Self-starter who can act independently with high integrity and who sees things to completion
Strong commercial acumen
Assertive, prepared to see through plans and overcome objections
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
High level of communication skills both verbal and written (in English & German, French and Italian of advantage)
