Dyson is intent on growing both existing and new categories across multiple channels. At the same time, the manufacturing footprint has doubled in the past two years to accommodate the rapid growth in different regions. We have a philosophy of consumer-focused innovation. Dyson is looking to appoint a Global Head of Cost who will report to the Chief Supply Chain Officer. As a member of the Global Supply Chain Transformation leadership team, the Head of Total Cost will be responsible for
About the role
Manage Cost of Goods sold, provide transparency and analytics on cost movements.
Deliver and priorities cost down activities across procurement and engineering teams
Provide cost estimation on new products throughout engineering milestones.
Enhance total cost management process and digitalisation.
About you
You should have a degree in Engineering with strong experiences in delivering cost down projects.
In-depth knowledge and proven track record in cost analytics.
Digital literacy and capability are highly regarded in this role.
Ability to demonstrate clarity in prioritisation across daily tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholder relationships and interact with cross-functional teams -finance, engineering, suppliers and operation teams.
Strong people management and project management skills.
