About the Role:

The Home Category Lead will facilitate our Home and Wearables Categories strategy execution in MX and supporting the Category Manager and Category team. Also, assist with all marketing elements including but not limited to media strategy, asset management, competitive research, event Marketing and consumer Activation Programs.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a cross functional setting and provide regular analytics on category performance, as well as support the category with inputs on presentations and internal meetings.

Develop and execute clear and compelling Go To Market plans which will drive incremental sales growth, share gains and positive brand attributes

  • Develop innovative and non-traditional ways to GTM to support brand objectives.

  • Work with internal marketing partners to develop effective brand communications including Online and In-store distribution channels; work with the Sr. Category Manager and Category Director to manage a media plan for category.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to execute GTM plans including new product launches, advertising creative, pricing, in-store execution, point of sale, promotions etc.

  • Work effectively with the Global team to ensure that there is alignment wherever possible and sensible.

Manage all aspects of bringing new products and technology to market to ensure successful launches

  • Evaluate ROI of promo and marketing campaigns and adjust plans as necessary.

  • Assist with the design of packaging and retail point-of-sale messaging strategies

  • Work with sales team to develop marketing plans, trade activations (POS).

  • Partner with Retail team to develop and deliver sales presentations and materials to ensure retail success.

  • Partner with the Retail team to track and analyze in-market implementation.

  • Evaluate and action upon market share changes and competitive threats in the short term.

Propose and develop go to market launch plans for new products. (product in life and project in life.)

  • Manage media campaigns from planning through to execution.

  • Collaborate with Category Director and/or Sr. Marketing Manager to execute GTM plans including new product launches, advertising creative, media planning, public relations, in-store execution, point of sale, promotions etc.

  • Work with internal marketing team to develop effective campaign strategy across all paid, owned and earned channels.

  • Work effectively with the Global team to ensure that there is alignment wherever possible and sensible

  • Coordinate with Retail Marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels

  • Work closely with sales and retail teams on marketing initiatives to support Dyson’s strategic goals

  • Collaborate with PR, media and marketing partners as well as Dyson’s agency of record to drive business objectives.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Advertising or Business Administration.

  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience; or 3 years of equivalent work experience in digital marketing.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel; the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data.

  • Problem Solving; must be able to critically analyze data and tackle problems and present viable solutions.

  • Strong communication skills; this person is able to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely. This person needs to be able to communicate clearly at all levels within an organization.

  • Knowledge of Media channels and marketplace trends.

  • Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with a fast-paced environment

  • Team player; this person is able to build strong relationships with a wide range of people (across all Dyson markets). This person works cooperatively across the business and puts the good of the business above their own career interests.

  • Creativity; this person needs to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously.

  • Flexibility; this person will need to adaptable, be open to taking on more and have the ability to adapt plans and direction as the business indicates.
