About the Role
You will work in collaboration with the leadership team to provide support, coaching and challenge to deliver actions that’ll drive people and organisation performance, including development of their own leadership.
There will be People plans, whereby you will develop and integrate the people dimension into business plans and support delivery of the Global People Blueprint, highlighting the implications of business goals and ensuring plans are in place to tackle risks, challenges and opportunities over the short and long term.
From a Talent Acquisition and Talent Development perspective, you will work with Centres of Expertise to ensure effective hiring strategies, ensure teams are recruiting for the future as well as the now, and build the Dyson employer brand; work with the leadership teams to implement initiatives to spot and develop future leadership talent.
You will be involved in talent movement and succession planning, performance management, analyse and management of data, manage employee relations issues in a customer focused, pragmatic and efficient manner.
Our Group Functions span Finance & Legal, Estates & Facilities, Supply Chain & Logistics, HR, Marketing & Commercial, Digital & E-Commerce. From an RDD perspective, our Research and Science teams - scientists, mechanical engineers and specialists across each product category - are the experimenters and risk-takers behind Dyson problem-solving.
As an HR Advisor you will be expected to be of degree calibre with high HR professional credentials. You will be CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification with sound knowledge of UK employment law. You will have previous experience as a true HR generalist where you have provided both operational and strategic HR support to a business in a global, matrixed organisation, along with experience of working at speed, pragmatism and professionalism, ideally in an entrepreneurial culture.
We need you to possess great delivery management - you're happy to get stuck in to the detail, creating energy and mobilising others (with and without direct line authority) to deliver against goals and projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively.
You'll also be highly credible, a great relationship builder, results-driven and resilient!
