About the Role
You will lead the talent agenda for your business area, understanding the key talent, their strengths and development needs and actively participate in talent management discussions with the business teams. Improve HR operational practices, spotting things to fix and be proactive about driving efficiencies.
You will need to challenge and influence key stakeholders, ensuring that the people agenda is at the heart of the business decision and anticipate the changing needs of the business and drive the active management and development of talent.
A professional and pragmatic approach to stakeholder management is key as you work with business leads to develop attraction and retention plans, support line managers with development of a high performance culture, and deliver expert generalist HR support in a collaborative manner.
Our Group Functions span Finance & Legal, Estates & Facilities, Supply Chain & Logistics, HR, Marketing & Commercial, Digital & E-Commerce. From an RDD perspective, our Research and Science teams - scientists, mechanical engineers and specialists across each product category - are the experimenters and risk-takers behind Dyson problem-solving.
We are looking for our future HRBP's to currently be acting as a Senior HR Advisor or HRBP with responsibility for either a diverse corporate functions client group e.g. sales, marketing, finance, legal customer services; or in an engineering capacity. You will have the ability to craft, own and implement people strategies across multiple business areas, that evidence tangible results.
Significant, hands-on customer facing generalist HR experience would also be needed along with a portfolio that evidences you can improve organisational capability by implementing new organisational design thinking, tools and methods. With all levels in our HR team, we need you to be able to inject and implement your ideas in a challenging and transforming work environment, to be highly credible and professional with senior stakeholders, with immediate positive impact. You'll be intellectually agile, quick thinking and articulate.
