About the role
Leadership
The HR will play a pivotal role in guiding the shape of the people and organization agenda in line with our strategy across the GC markets.
HR Business Partner to the GM of the HK/TW market acting as a true partner, trusted advisor, coach and sounding board
Together with other HR function (TA, TD, Rewards &Op ) in GC region to provide best HR model and service to HK/TW market
Be a key member of the HR community and network across markets throughout the globe
Strategic HR
Collaborate with the MD/LT in HKTW market to develop the people and organization strategies with the regional HR team.
Understand the business strategy and enable the people and organization aspects to deliver on the strategic priorities ie sales, marketing, owner experience, and also supporting
Provide HR expertise and insights to developing markets to support their growth
Work with leaders on senior people management and organization matters as an escalation point or enabler of solutions
Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner with GC Talent Acquisition team to bring in good talent and ensure we have a best in class candidate experience
Support the markets to implement our recruitment system and transition to a direct model
Take a lead on developing our employer brand and identifying new opportunities in this space
Work in partnership with GC to develop the Early Careers strategy for the market
Talent Development
Partner with GC and Group TD team to ensure Group programmes and approaches are well managed and embedded
Improve the focus on talent development through development plans/programmes, capability building, succession plans, global mobility and other activities that support the strategy
Diversity & Inclusion
Increase awareness to the diversity and inclusion agenda
Improve the diversity of the teams with 1-3 year plans in the market
HR Operations & HRIS
In partnership with GC HR leads and Group colleagues, ensure Workday is successfully adopted, with creative solutions to evolve management behaviours and embed new ways of working for managers and employees
Continuously seek better organizational and process efficiency together with GC/Group HR Ops team
Policy & Processes
In partnership with Group Legal & HR as well as GC HR leads, implement improvements to policies, processes, contracts that enable the business and align with the Dyson culture
Culture & Dyson DNA
Assist Dyson leaders in creating the Dyson culture in HKTW and walk the talk the culture
Develop new senior hires into Dyson-oriented people and assist them with integration into the global organization
Be central to ensuring the Dyson culture and spirit is developed throughout the organization and across all offices and locations
Team Player - fulfil other duties as required
Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of your role
Fix things that can see need fixing
Identify problems and find solutions
Role model the Dyson behaviors and develop the Dyson culture
About you
Relevant qualification in Human Resources or related field.
Knowledge of HR best practice, employment legislation, systems, policy and procedures, and managing employment relations cases
Minimum 6 years’ experience in Human Resources
Multi-lingual (ideally) with excellent English and local language capability
Strategic HR business partner to senior leaders
Stand-alone HR leader with experience of leading businesses and partnering multiple markets
Working in a fast-paced team environment with high volume activities and changing priorities
Familiar with a matrix-style management structure, with key stakeholders overseas, and a UK (or international) head-office
Fast-paced, growing organisation with entrepreneurial spirit
