About the role
The Integrated Business Planning Intern will be a part of the IBP team. Supported by the planning systems, he/she is responsible for the creation and maintenance of various management reports, analysis, and Power Point presentations; to provide data analytical support to various operations competencies of Dyson.
The ideal candidate boasts excellent analytical and MS-Excel skills, a passion for crunching data to support business strategies and informed decision.
Some of your responsibilities could include:
Define and deliver metrics, reporting platforms, dashboards, and analytical models vital for tracking and managing the business
Facilitate the computerization of analytics and data collection processes
Responsible for carrying out analysis of datasets and conduct appropriate data validation
Provide information on analytic results to business and functional leaders using visualizations to communicate data and metrics, including data maps, leveraging Tableau, etc.
About you
Working at the forefront of technology is tough so standards and expectations are high. On top of the technical know-how and passion to learn more, you’ll need to be inquisitive by nature, enthusiastic about technology, creative and tenacious in your approach to problem solving.
You’ll also need to be:
Studying towards a Bachelor degree or higher in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematic, or relevant experience in a quantitative field
Graduating in 2024
Able to commit for a minimum of 12 weeks from July 2023
Proficiency in Programming skills such as SAS, SQL, Python, R etc.
Able to make analytical recommendations and provide business insights to the senior management
Strong knowledge in statistical modelling whereby experience in machine learning will be a plus.
Ability to translate complex data into understandable trends and market patterns.
Understanding and working knowledge of supply chain planning would be a plus.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
