About the role
This role forms a critical part of success for the Intelligent Automation capability at Dyson Business Services (DBS) and an enabler of the future operating model, It will be focused on generating intelligent automation demand, reporting directly to the DBS Head of Intelligent Automation Delivery.
The continuous demand for valuable pipeline of automation opportunities as well as the increase in the discovery engagement of Dyson senior stakeholders requires a strong leader of the demand team who will continue building the most effective business analysis framework, drive and coordinate the operational actions of the team of business analysts, being also a people manager driving the team’s continuous growth and development.
The DBS organization provides process and service excellence to support the Company with a goal of delivering strategic value, innovating and enhancing services over time to meet the changing needs of the business. The Intelligent Automation Demand Manager should have a transformational mindset, high communication skills and expertise in analysing complex business processes from the end-to-end perspective. This person is an expert in stakeholder management and securing the digital enabling information from senior stakeholders and their subject matter experts. They will know how to convert the obtained information into end-to-end transformation opportunities.
You will be responsible for:
Working with Head of Intelligent Automation on the demand management and business analysis framework, method and approach (mapping, assessment, qualification, prioritization),
Working with Dyson senior stakeholders, Global Process Owners and subject matter experts through workshops aimed at exploring transformational potential of their respective areas.
Challenging status quo of “As Is” processes and proposing new solutions with actionable recommendations
Identifying pain points and improvement opportunities
Exploring automation solutions with intelligent automation solution architects that will best address particular business needs
People managing the team of business analysts, driving their operational work as well as personal growth and development
Promoting digital innovation to transform the way people work and improve experience of customers using services of DBS
An automation business analysis and demand generation expert with experience in Shared Services organisation
Experienced in identifying end-to-end automation opportunities, enabling process redesign and applying innovative and creative solutions to solve issues
Experienced working with RPA software (UiPath preferred) and Intelligent Automation (IDP, virtual assistants, ML) to be able to influence solution and showcase value of automation
Experience in managing teams of business analysts
Experience in developing demand management framework
Excellent inter-personal communication skills
