About the role
In Dyson Global IT – Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Retail function, we contribute by delivering significant and successful system-enabled change and transformation to support Dyson business across the globe. We form a large proportion of the IT Function, the team is arranged into three business and technology-focused domains: Manufacturing & Planning Systems, Supply Chain Systems and Retail Systems.
We work collaboratively and accurately at pace, selecting the best approach with our stakeholders, and applying the right level of control, to deliver authentic and innovative solutions, on time, that enable the benefits and outcomes required. We are always maturing our methodologies, processes, and ways of working and expect the next few years within the function to be exciting and transformational. You will be reporting to a Business Analyst Lead or Manager, you will be exposed to a variety of potential assignments:
analysing as-is process and to-be business requirements and assisting in workshops to elicit requirements.
creating user stories and iteration of acceptance criteria in preparation for the project implementation or product enhancements in line with business value realisation within the manufacturing, supply chain, or retail domains
interacting with subject matter experts, Global IT colleagues and supplier contacts to develop your collaboration and communication skills, and to ensure effective management of change, risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies as well as tracking and reporting delivery against milestones.
Developing your understanding of various technology solutions and how they can be applied to address business requirements from across the target business domains of manufacturing, supply chain, and / or retail
supporting the team on driving technology initiatives, develop an understanding of the complexities of delivering scope and change through the life cycle of either a project/programme or product management team
Over the course of this two-year programme, we will work with you to develop your career at Dyson by providing opportunities to rotate between domains so that you will deliver projects that span Dyson’s technologies that support designing new products, manufacturing them, shipping them and selling them. At the same time, we will support you in creating and owning your professional and personal development plan, which will help you to navigate your Dyson career.

About you
Working at the forefront of technology is tough so standards and expectations are high. You’ll be contributing to live projects from the start, so you’ll need to be curious, hungry to learn, and ready to get stuck in. But it’s not just about technical expertise. You’ll need to:
Be studying towards a relevant degree discipline. This can be in any subject area, but motivation and attitude are important to us, and you will need to be able to demonstrate a passion for Business Analysis.
Graduating in Q3 2023
Be able to evidence your passion for delivering projects and products, either through your university projects or as part of your extra-curricular activities
Be able to thrive in Dyson’s fast-paced environment
Knowledge of IT infrastructure and collaboration tools and an understanding of Business Analysis methodologies would be advantageous.
