Specifically, the goal of IT at Dyson is to establish a reliable, available, and secure IT environment across Dyson offices and retail stores in a fast turnaround time. The IT team works in close ties with global and regional teams to ensure standard digital & IT solutions are implemented in the country. About the Role
Reporting the to the Senior IT Manager, the IT Specialist will support the delivery of a range of Information Technology activities and services to support Dysons technology requirements.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Working proactively on specific assignments, BAU tasks and handling escalations from users and provide support
Working on documentation, SOP, project documentation, updates to peers
Liaising with regional and global teams and service providers for effective IT operations management and site support
Working with partners and security teams to ensure services are secure
Managing on-site technical change which impacts technical services ensuring minimal risk
Manage 3rd Party relationships with key partners
Oversee and provide exceptional support to Dyson frontline employees & teams, stores, and contact centre teams ensuring no disruptions to their services and operations
Consistently leveraging IT to add value to the business and make working more efficient and effective
Partnering with End User Services and Infrastructure teams to develop a talented team of IT service desk and IT infrastructure engineers, who with others define, manage and support the entire IT operations for Dyson
Supporting the rapid build-out of retail stores and help plan efficient deployment of IT structure and support, including network infrastructure, ePOS, and other activities as required
To be successful in this role, you will be dedicated to providing IT solutions and managing relations with key business areas and 3rd parties. You will be a confident communicator able to communicate complex IT information to a non-technical audience with clarity. You are a proficient problem solver who can manage ambiguity and deliver appropriate solutions, able to prirotise workload and perform in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Previous skills & experience:-
Degree or Diploma in IT / Computer Science desirable
Basic understanding of the Networking technologies and Servers
Solid relevant experience in an IT role
Customer Focused - Develop and maintain customer relations with internal stakeholders and actively seek information to understand customers’ circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs
Third line fault repair and vendor escalations
