About the Role

We are looking for a talented Junior e-Commerce Trading Manager to join the growing e-Commerce team in Dyson France. You will be tasked with supporting the e-Commerce Trading Manager to deliver the trading plan and support in growing revenue streams in the Dyson France D2C business.

You will work closely with the Digital, Marketing, Finance and Supply teams to deliver projects, campaigns and optimisations to drive the continuous improvement of the customer experience and ensure day to day e-Commerce operations run as smoothly as possible.

This role is pivotal to supporting ambition within the French business, so you must be a clear and effective co-ordinator, project manager and a team player.   

Working with a cross functional teams in France, the Netherlands (EMEA hub), and with UK based Group (Global) functions, your performance will be based on delivering against our local e-Commerce trading strategy, including our channel performance, trading calendar, sales forecast and overall D2C experience.


At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do, and your role will make sure that owners are getting a fantastic experience on Reporting to the e-Commerce Trading Manager, your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to:

About You 

  • Manage, co-ordinate and update trading plan.
  • Manage affiliate channel planning, strategy and execution.
  • Manage and co-ordinate key trading trading periods (BF, Summer Sale, Winter Sales, BTS etc).
  • Operational forecast management for (day to day changes and communication among teams).
  • Monitor sellout and website performance, supporting with Daily Trading meetings.

Support with co-ordinating and communicating across omni-channel D2C platforms, including:

  • Stock movements and arrivals
  • Out Of Stock
  • Pricing (promotional and SSP changes)
  • Gift with purchase and added value incentives
  • Support with new revenue opportunities for (social shopping, affiliates, D2C growth, payments, delivery etc).
  • Digital: You have a basic understanding of all things digital and eCommerce.
  • Supply Chain: You will have at least a basic understanding of inventory management and forecasting.
  • Sales planning: You will be capable of accurately building a sales forecast utilising various data sets such as web analytics and historical sales data.
  • Systems: Prior knowledge of using Analytics software (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics), Business Planning Software (Anaplan) or SAP would be advantageous but not essential. 
  • Owners First: You’ll understand and think about what these plans and actions do for our owner experience.
  • Agile: Be capable of working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, with autonomy and flexibility.
  • Organised: You are able to break down a goal into manageable tasks and work efficiently to deadline 
  • Communication: You are a strong communicator, able to communicate technical issues using simple terminology. 
  • Detail: You have a keen eye for fine details
  • Solution oriented: You have a bias for action and get things done with a positive attitude.
  • Collaborative: You’re comfortable working will colleagues and peers across countries, cultures and different levels of seniority. Use of GIFs is mandatory.
