We are looking for a talented Jr e-Commerce Manager to join the fastest growing e-Commerce market in Dyson Central and Eastern Europe. You will be tasked with supporting the Experience manager to execute the direct trading website’s trading plan and support in growing revenue streams in the Dyson CEED D2C business.

You will work closely with the Content, Marketing, EMEA ecommerce team and external partners to deliver projects, campaigns and optimizations to drive the continuous improvement of the customer experience and ensure day to day e-Commerce operations run as smoothly as possible.

This role is pivotal to supporting Dyson.com ambition within the CEED business, so you must be a clear and effective co-ordinator, project manager and a team player.   


Working with a cross functional team in CEED, the Netherlands (EMEA hub), and with UK based Group (Global) functions, your performance will be based on delivering against our local e-Commerce trading strategy, including our channel performance, trading calendar, sales forecast and overall D2C experience.

About the role

At Dyson our Owner is central to everything we do, and your role will make sure that owners are getting a fantastic experience on the CEED direct trading sites. Reporting to the Experience Manager your day-to-day activities will include but are not limited to:

  • End to end project management for execution of enhancements and content changes to improve website’s user experience by across 8 direct websites

  • You are the content gate keeper for all CEE direct websites, ensuring the website is kept up to date with new products, creative assets, landing pages, global guidelines and app installations.

  • Clear understanding of the IMPACT-EFFORT matrix to plan the execution of the content changes across the 8 direct sites to deliver the conversion targets

  • Identify content opportunities through site benchmarking with other markets.

  • Keep the content on Dyson.cz updated to mirror the trading plan.

  • Demonstrate the ‘best in class’ user experience by executing enhancements, content upgrades on Dyson.cz and cascade it to the content teams to be further rolled out in other markets.

  • Optimize merchandising to display relevant promotions, products, and content on our website.

  • Management and optimization of onsite search results, category and navigation structures across channels and devices to maximize sales potential whilst delivering relevant results.

  • Liaise with EMEA Ecommerce team to ensure all content recommendations to boost conversion is rolled out in the CEE markets

  • Liaise with the EMEA ecommerce team to place requests for adobe target merchandising elements

  • You own the SEO journey across 8 websites. Manage the end to end  external SEO partnership and roll out the recommendations for your market, cascading it down to the team for their responsible markets.

  • Take ownership of the websites, proactively identifying and resolving daily issues that may arise.

  • Your main KPI is conversion rate, support the experience manager to identify gaps in conversion rate per channel / Funnel and take the appropriate action

  • Support the experience manager to identify new enhancements and build business case, to drive website development, implementing new functions and elements.

  • Manage a team of content executives, communicating clear vision of the team, maintaining the importance of content, and cascading the ownership of website KPIs.

  • Manage and collaborate with third party translation and content agencies to drive scalable solutions for market growth.

About you

  • You have an experience and are passionate about working on CMS (Magento – highly preferred)

  • You have 3-4 yrs experience working in ecommerce

  • Fluent in Czech and English

  • Fast learner and passion for data

  • You have previously worked on site reporting tools like Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics

  • Agile: Be capable of working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, with autonomy and flexibility.

  • Organized: You are able to break down a goal into manageable tasks and work efficiently to deadline 

  • Communication: You are a strong communicator, able to communicate technical issues using simple terminology. 

  • Detail: You have a keen eye for fine details

  • Solution oriented: You have a bias for action and get things done with a positive attitude.

  • Collaborative: You’re comfortable working will colleagues and peers across countries, cultures, and different levels of seniority. Use of GIFs is mandatory.

  • You are able to break down a goal into manageable tasks and work efficiently to deadline 

  • Central/Eastern European/Baltics languages are an advantage
