Junior HR Business Partner

This requires a strong people first approach, and for our Nordic business we are now looking for a reliable Junior HR Business Partner to continue to develop the business whilst taking care of our most important asset: Our People.


Based in Stockholm, Sweden, this role supports the Nordic markets (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland) representing the agenda for all people related activities. As part of the Nordic leadership team, the role will create, champion, and drive a people plan which will enable successful delivery of the business objectives. You will also be responsible for a number of key strategic work-streams (such as workforce planning, salary reviews and performance cycles ) 

You are a pragmatic and trusted partner, working with the full nordic business, from Retail to Senior Management to ensure that people policies and practices help us to attract, develop and retain great people, passionate about Dyson.


  • Create and execute a solid people agenda linked to the business overall goals and needs, driving through regular communication of people and HR priorities and processes across your business areas. 

  • Workforce and organisational planning, overseeing resource needs with FTE/ HC management to support the business to effective and sustainable teams.

  • Develop effective on-going relationships with Managers, establishing yourself as a credible, respected, and valued partner. 

  • Coach, challenge, and influence Senior Managers to develop the organisational capability required to enable delivery of business deliverables; anticipate the changing needs of the business and drive the active management and development of talent. 

  • Lead the talent agenda for your business area, understanding the key talent, their strengths and development needs and actively participate in talent management discussions with the business teams. 

  • Champion the performance management and personal development planning process with your business area and ensure that leaders and employees have the skills and capability to maximise the value of the process. Identify opportunities and engage Key Leaders/Managers with ideas for improving team/individual performance, capabilities and overall effectiveness. 

  • Lead the local engagement survey and systematically work on improvement areas within the business together with Managers and Employees

  • Employee Relations Management; Support Managers and work with global ER Team on process and decisions relating to complex people cases with financial or legal risks, redundancies, grievances and/or disciplinary actions

  • Challenge practices if you believe there are better ways of doing things and inspire others to do the same, fixing things that need fixing, identifying problems and finding solutions.

  • Work in collaboration with the wider People Team; Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, Global Mobility and Rewards teams to ensure the best support for our people

  • Local benefit management, and direct liaison with our insurance broker to ensure the best benefit package and solutions for our people

  • Be an active contributor to HR functional strategy, understand the objectives of the other HR teams and take opportunities to share knowledge and best practice. Ensure that everything you do is in line with the overall Dyson HR philosophy

  • Nurture the Nordics high trust environment and tirelessly work with the business to uphold a pleasant, diverse, and high performing organisation

  • Deliver expert and customer focused operational HR support - providing advice and guidance to resolve day-to-day queries as they arise. 


The successful candidate is a result-driven individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude; a self-starter, comfortable to challenging the status quo and who embraces opportunities to get involved and sees things through to completion.

  • 3+ years HR experience operating as a Generalist and a key contact for line managers/leaders 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant field

  • Fluent in English and Swedish

  • Experience working with senior leaders is desirable

  • Solid understanding of the Nordic countries respectively labour laws.

  • Experience working within an entrepreneurial organisation culture is desirable 

  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills 

  • Business focused and commercially aware 

  • High level of communication skills; presents self and views with confidence and conviction 

  • Comfortably influences and negotiates 

  • Analytical thinking skills: quickly evaluates situations and reaches well founded conclusions 

  • Capable of defining and managing initiatives/projects 

  • Great coaching and mentoring skills, and a passion for developing people 

  • Has impact, gravitas and credibility with HR colleagues and leaders at all levels 

  • Brings an intelligent, quick-thinking, and logical approach 

  • Able to work at pace, whilst maintaining appropriate attention to detail and standards 

  • Able to generate innovative HR solutions
