About the role
As a Junior Retention Manager, you will report to the Retention Manager DACH and your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional experiences for Dyson owners in Germany. You will achieve this by aligning with regional and global Retention and CRM strategies. This includes developing and executing transformational projects, collaborating with various business units locally and across the EMEA organization, and proactively managing projects for timely execution.
You will serve as the operational channel owner for our CRM strategy. You will collaborate closely with our agencies and internal business units to execute E-mail and app marketing campaigns. Your responsibilities will include driving the growth of all CRM-related KPIs, as well as implementing local adaptations of our global strategies. You are responsible for this channel, and your mission is to elevate Dyson's E-mail marketing to new heights by closely monitoring performance and providing regular reports to the business.
You will aid projects that expand the contactable owners and prospects base, improving their Dyson experience from product receipt to repurchase, thereby transforming them into fervent advocates. You will depend on excellent analytical skills to use data to drive effective campaigns, focusing on metrics such as reach, growth, engagement, advocacy and lifetime value.
As a Junior Retention Manager, it is crucial to possess robust communication skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and proficiency in digital platforms. Your position holds great significance in Germany, and you will work jointly with regional and global teams to fulfil retention and business objectives, while effectively navigating a complex organizational structure.
Main accountabilities:
Ownership, definition, planning, and coordination among stakeholders for all Customer Relationship Management and E-Mail marketing channels targeting the German market.
Deliver the best-in-class owner experience with relevant care content, providing our owners with answers before they even ask.
Develop and execute automated lifecycle and cross-channel marketing campaigns.
Drive the achievement of our ambitious retention KPIs through relevant campaigns and activations in email and app marketing.
Act as a close sparring partner for our Direct e-commerce unit and develop strategies to increase the share of repurchases.
Identify audiences along the customer journey, set up regular A/B tests, and create owner segments based on analysis.
Continuously analyze and report campaign performance, optimizing for the next steps.
Coordinate with external partners and agencies for the German market.
Provide monthly CRM and digital reports for the German market.
Optimize KPIs for marketing and care emails to meet performance targets by conducting A/B tests, adjusting links for improved conversion rates, and more.
Provide project support in owned and earned channel management and campaign setup.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field required
2+ years experience in digital marketing, ideally CRM, e-mail, app marketing
Analytic and KPI driven mindset never losing the owners first mentality
Strong communication skills; this person is able to present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely. This person needs to be able to communicate clearly at all levels within the organization.
Problem Solving; must be able to critically analyse problems and present viable solutions.
Entrepreneurial spirit; able to deal with ambiguity and willing to take risks as needed.
Attention to detail; material produced is meticulously executed.
Creativity; needs to be open to new ideas, adventurous and practical simultaneously.
Driven by the desire to win and for continuous improvement.
Fluent in German and English
Platform knowledge: ideally experienced in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Looker
Positive attitude with resilient; this person will work very close to all the teams in order to understand their needs and accomplish common goals on time.
