Working in the Benelux Sales team you’ll be supporting the Senior Customer Business Manager to drive profit growth in direct retail account across BELUX. You’ll have strong analytical skills, ingenuity and decisiveness to deliver insights and actions to drive the joint business forward.

About the role

Main Responsibilities:

Together with the Senior Customer Business Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver Volume sales targets and profit targets in established account

  • Lead the discussion internally and with the Retail team to ensure delivery of sales & profit targets in the key partner but also achieve the highest standards of execution for the Dyson brand on their website and in stores

  • Deliver compelling Joint Business Plans with the partner

  • Manage costs & investment to maximize profitability across account portfolio

On a daily/weekly basis, your main accountabilities will be the following:

  • Daily account management of the Key Belux Retail Partner in line with the full year Joint Business Plans: Sales-out and Market Shares follow up/projection/analysis, Orders, Forecast, Full Year Marketing Retailer plans setup, P&L analysis, product creations & launches

  • Provide the Senior CBM with an accurate monthly latest estimate of volume and review actual sales vs the latest estimate

  • Manage weekly stock refill within allowed credit limit. Ensure optimal stock coverage at all stores, online at all times

  • Assist the Senior CBM in preparing and delivering high quality customer mid & long terms strategy presentations e.g. sales data, GFK data, customer insights.

  • Administer all areas of the promotional planning cycle including completion of Benelux sales promotional planner and recording spend on account business plans.

  • Ensure that all data used with the Accounts is accurate and up to date, providing timely reports to support the Senior CBM in forecasting volume

  • Keep distribution matrix up to date with products listed by account and number of stores.

  • Work with trade marketing to produce high quality in-store & online plans and material that supports the Dyson brand and the account’s requirements

  • Provide clear and concise communications to the Field Sales team including generation of reports and accountability for account information

About you

  • Previous account management background

  • Proven delivery of sales targets

  • Worked with and contributed to a high performing sales team

  • Has been exposed to account negotiations

  • High level of commercial awareness

  • Planning, Forecast Control across multiple product lines

  • Working knowledge of the Retail industry, either with an electrical manufacturer or other

  • Degree preferred
