About the role
Work within the highly competitive B2B environment introducing Dyson technology to potential owners by implementing the most profitable long term business plans and driving innovative ways of extending our reach. It requires managing multiple networks of customer contacts and overseeing numerous routes to market – focusing on building strong relationships with partner resellers, in order to grow the indirect business. It takes ownership, courage, and tough negotiations. Being constantly driven to provide clearer solutions and drive better results - we see every day as a race day!
As Nordic Key Account Manager – (Partner Resellers) you will lead on high profile accounts ensuring there is outstanding execution and sales growth. Commercially focused, you will use your negotiation and influencing skills to develop a strategic annual account plan that sets out the key objectives for DYSON and the resellers with ongoing planning of up to three years. This is a new role created to take the ownership and management of the implementation of joint business development with the Partner Reseller customer base. This role is based on a Fixed Term contract of 12 months with the potential to transition into a Permanent role.
As our product portfolio expands, our reseller landscape must transform in order to deliver the vision of our DYSON’s ambitions growth targets. You will set the strategic vision and outline clear objectives that will deliver high value growth and strong return on investment for DYSON Sales.
Maximize indirect sales through the Partner Reseller customer base
Using the commercial terms agreements, support to build effective local joint business development plans with the regions/branches of the Partners/Resellers
Identify and utilize opportunities to build Dyson Airblade knowledge and understanding within the third-party sales teams
Support the Nordic Sales Manager - Distributor, Partner and Regional Field in the implementation of agreed activities
New business generation through joint business plans
Develop and implement joint business plans with key Resellers that drives new business opportunities and sales
Management of direct and indirect relationships
Consistently achieve volume and profit targets for the agreed Partner Resellers
Provide full and regular reports to key internal stakeholders updating the activities completed and planned
Present clear and compelling propositions to customers through professional well-structured business meetings.
Gain an understanding of the key drivers for each partner and tailor solutions to meet these.
Deliver effective sales presentations through varying formats to third party customers.
B2B Key Account Management experience 3+years
Worked with and contributed to a high performing sales team
Presented to senior level on account negotiations
Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills, particularly in the English language
Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Excellent relationship building skills
Salesforce CRM experience
Commercial experience including strong analytical ability
Proven experience on working to and exceeding targets
Effective, concise communicator
Good planning skills
Self-starter and motivated
Excellent team-worker with drive and enthusiasm
