Lead Document Controller, Quality Management System

About the role:

Based in our technology centre in Singapore, Lead Document Controller will be responsible for development and maintaining the document control system in line with the required industry standards (including ISO 9001 / ISO 13485), accreditation requirements and business requirements across the organisation.

Some of the key responsibilities (not limited to) will be:

  • Lead the development and administration of document management systems including generating progress reports and gaps.

  • Act as the Deputy Management Representative for the Quality Management System

  • Support and assist in the maintenance of ISO certificates.

  • Maintain the document management system, review, distribution, and control of latest documents.

  • Coordinate with internal parties to maintain and update all necessary documentation to comply with quality system requirements.

  • Assist in establishing policies and procedures for the company.

  • Train others in all aspects of the quality management system and application of procedures.

  • Conduct internal audit and assist internal parties to develop improvement plan.

  • Embed a culture of continuous improvement throughout the company.

About you:

  • At minimum degree in Engineering or Quality.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working within an FDA or ISO 13485 regulated Industry

  • Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/ ISO 13485) within regulated industries is essential.

  • Ability to independently drive continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written & verbal). Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

  • Willingness to own issues and propose solutions.

  • Leadership skills to maintain a diverse team engaged and focused on the objectives.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits.
