About the role
The Electronics Floorcare Integration – System Verification team have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and data focussed Engineer to deliver Home Trials on Robot / Handheld projects. The Verification lead will coordinate internal home trials of our robot and other floorcare projects with the opportunity to work with a wide range of dynamic teams including the Floorcare category team.
Home Trials objectives are to verify the Product Performance (Hardware and Behaviours) against product requirements in real world scenarios, by:
Defining and measuring KPIs,
Verifying SW stability through product faults and regression analysis,
Capturing user perceptions through feedback and Surveys
You will need to analyse the data collected from connected products as well as define strategies for data analysis for future products. Work with the business intelligence team and create data visualisations to represent the data being captured.
This is a critical role in the delivery of robust, reliable and quality products to our owners.
Accountabilities:
Working with the project team, management of products and rigs and their allocation to trialists
Analysis and triage of issues identified with trialists and escalating issues to the project teams
Define strategies including design for test requirements for future products
Present and summarise the performance of the product in release review meetings.
Collaboration with System Verification team to Enhance testing Capabilities.
Work with Category and Quality Team to analyse User perceptions against Product requirements.
About you
Data management skills including knowledge of SQL would be an advantage.
Data visualisation experience with tools like Tableau or Grafana.
An undergraduate degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline. Electronics, Electrical or Systems preferred.
Experience creating test methods and specifying test equipment.
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to handle a broad and complex workload.
Excellent communication skills and experience in engaging with stakeholders of varied seniority
