About the Role
We are looking for a Logistics Systems Project Manager to join our team.
The Logistics Systems Project Manager is responsible for successful deployment of process and system solutions to enable globally connected Logistics, whist identifying and resolving operational issues, making recommendations on system design decisions, and ensuring on time delivery, within budget, and delivering to the highest quality standards.
The immediate Logistics capabilities include Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with 3PL warehouses, retailers/ customers i.e. B2B/B2C, and optimizing efficiency through integration of delivery management platform (DMP) and transportation management systems (TMS).
This role reports to the Head of Supply Chain Processes and Systems, and will work closely with IT, vendors, and the logistics businesses across all regions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage Logistics project implementation with third party logistics providers and sites.
Lead solutions simplification, standardisation, and best practices across all regions with key focus on EDI/ B2B/B2C and TMS integration.
Point of contact for assigned Logistics projects. Lead regions in implementing the operational Logistics solutions.
Project planning which includes scoping, budgeting, work plans and resource estimation.
Work with teams and prepare detailed solution documentation and presentations as required i.e. EDI blueprints/ integration user stories.
Work closely with country teams from requirement definitions to implementation.
Ensure the vendors deliver the Logistics systems as per the signed off specifications including extensive testing and proper implementation.
Prepare deployment schedules, and deliverables. Work with Dyson IT and vendor resources throughout the lifecycle of projects such as Design Build Test (DBT), Cutover and Hypercare.
Clear and effective communication and facilitation between various internal teams on project deliverables.
Ensuring adequate handover to business-as-usual support by working closely with AMS on the support processes.
About You
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, information technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 6 years of solid experience in SAP Logistics solution implementation primarily B2B/EDI integration with 3PL, preferably in a multinational organization.
Extensive understanding of Logistics operations i.e. GR, putaway, GI/fulfilment intercompany inventory movements.
Proficiency in Logistics software solutions, such as TMS (Transportation Management System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), Order Management Systems (OMS) and other relevant Logistics tools.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, IT and vendors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to evaluate optimal solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to key stakeholders.
Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
