About the Role
The purpose of this position is to manage the Dyson B2B brand and products in the B2B Professional portfolio (including Airblade, Lighting, Floor Care, Environmental Control and Beauty categories) selling to businesses across Australia & New Zealand.
This role is responsible for owning and delivering strategic and tactical projects to help drive leads, sales and awareness of the Professional Portfolio in ANZ.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Development of Annual Brand Strategy and Execution Plans for Professional and in alignment with overall business objectives with approval from B2B Professional ANZ Director
Conduct full market appraisal to steer Marketing strategy
Optimise existing global marketing strategy for local interpretation
Raise awareness of the Dyson B2B Professional products within key verticals/Industries where our products are suited. Including but not limited to: Architects, Designers, Specifiers, Facilities Managers, Schools, Child Care, Workplaces, Hotels, Hospitality venues
Responsible for our annual events calendar. Booking shows, design & build of tradeshow stand, coordinating team’s attendance, logistics of kit and executing the events across the year
Work closely with the Brand Teams from other categories (EC, FC, HC) so you are aware of NPD and marketing plans across the year so you can utilise elements for B2B. e.g. rolling out assets when we have new product launches or collaborating with them on PR initiatives
Responsible for all digital marketing working with our group media Agency IPG based out of the UK. Current Tactics we use are Search/PPC, Social (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram), Programmatic. Brief IPG on the strategy and campaigns, provide agency with budget and assets, then work with them to optimize performance
Collaborate with PR on stories to raise the profile of Dyson within B2B titles, influencing and convincing decision makers on Dyson technology for their businesses
Work with group on CRM campaigns utilising our salesforce database. Set strategy, plan audiences, producing creative and deploying campaigns
Ensure that the right assets are available to the sales team, Architects and Clients
Ensure that the website is up to date with relevant material, new products, new pages to support campaigns, price increases
Support out distributor partners with assets and materials to ensure sales teams are knowledgeable and passionate about Airblade technology and sell our technology on our behalf
Work alongside the Dyson Professional sales teams on supporting distributors marketing requirements including branded literature, POS, assets for their websites and communication to their database
Ensure that the Dyson sales team and distributor sales teams have the sales and marketing collateral required to drive sales
Work cross functionally, with sales to deliver retailer/trade launch presentations to gain buy-in for Professional NPD
Present new product launches to Professional sales team, internal staff and assist with training outline for Academy
Ensure all brand collateral is updated with correct NPD information and current
Develop internal launch kit, providing all product information relevant for the sales team to execute a successful launch
Undertake research and market analysis to deliver actionable insights with the Business Analyst team
Manage research initiatives to validate Marketing Campaigns where required
Conduct Post Analysis on Marketing Campaign initiative
About You
The successful candidate will have strong numerate and analytical skills coupled with sound commercial acumen. You will be a team player who is flexible and willing to go beyond the job description had able to juggle a heavy workload, focused on delivering to plan.
Previous skills & experience:-
Marketing or related degree (Business/Marketing)
Solid experience in brand and category management
Demonstrated experience in launching big NPD’s (incl. consumer target & insights definition, product positioning, go to market strategy and implementation)
Full P&L understanding, experience in calculating ROI, budget management
Excellent communication and presentation skills
