Marketing Manager, Beauty

About the role

The key purpose of this role is to develop owner & consumer centric category strategies fuelling growth and leads to the activation team to bring them to life in order to deliver commercial goals.

As Marketing Manager, Beauty you will be driving the category forward, setting and executing the Dyson Haircare strategy.

This is a strategic role, leading the Haircare category – one of our largest growth opportunities across Dyson ANZ.

This role reports into the ANZ Marketing Director and has two direct reports.

Main Accountabilities

  • Own category vision, strategy

  • Lead the yearly category planning process

  • Lead the go to market strategy

  • Be the voice of the category and consumer and lead the activation with internal & external stakeholders

  • Lead monthly category review

  • Participate in the monthly S&OP/IBP process

  • Own the Beauty Brand Building Investment (BBI)

  • Ensure best in class, timely execution of the category plans

  • Coach and develop the team

About you

You’re a strong, commercial and strategic leader with proven experience driving a category forward. You have an analytical approach and are solutions oriented.

You have previous target driven marketing management experience and you’re a great people leader with a strong ability to build collaborative working relationships.

You’re driven with passion and enthusiasm and have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving.

More about you

  • At least 7 years experience in marketing ideally in an international or FMCG retailer/company

  • Beauty/luxury experience strongly recommended

  • Social media and digital experience

  • Proven influencing and negotiating skills

  • Strong sales skills in order to coach team

  • Financial budget management
