About the Role
As the Marketplace Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering monthly sales volumes and communicating and escalating as appropriate any changes to target, forecast or LE. You will own the eCommerce equation for all 3 marketplaces, leading ongoing analysis of marketplace performance, optimising content and campaigns as required.
Main responsibilities include but not limited to:-
Deliver assigned forecast on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
Seek consensus and approval from internal stakeholders for proposed plans/promotions and negotiate with marketplace counterparts
Monitor marketplace sales and inventories and assess risks/opportunities and implement best profit solutions
Contribute to and implement channel strategies that optimise Marketplace opportunities and Dyson profitability in line with Australian goals
Work closely with Direct Commercial team to align campaign activity with commercial targets
Builds bespoke activation plans and secure stock to support upcoming campaign plans
Lead R&O throughout the month for Marketplace and report to Commercial Team
Lead strategy and joint business planning with each marketplace partner
Negotiate with external stakeholders to deliver the Dyson digital experience on marketplaces
Lead content & optimisation executive to deliver on merchandising and advertising objectives for each marketplace
Drive marketplace strategic objectives for each account – uninterrupted journeys, auto registration and live chat
With support of content & optimisation executive deliver and maintain high scores on EDGE merchandising audits
Accountability for all business processes related to the position, for example accounts receivable, legal, customer service, and all related administrative due diligence
Be a strong voice to raise the profile of marketplaces to the wider Australian business
Work closely with the Dyson Group Marketplace Manager to ensure the marketplace business contributes to the wider Global Direct ambition and aligns with global trading strategy
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about digital, always looking to learn the most cutting-edge methodologies in web marketing and in eCommerce. You possess the ability to think strategically and develop long term plans for the marketplace channel and be a self-starter with lots of initiative.
Previous skills & experience:-
Solid experience in digital account sales/eCommerce
Diverse experience supporting sales, operations, eCommerce, category management and financial analysis required
Excellent presentation and influencing skills
P&L proficiency and ability to optimise return on investment of marketing spend
Good analytical, and proven negotiation and closing skills
Experience of CMS ideal or at least knowledge of the process involved in delivering content online
Experience critiquing creative work
General understanding of digital marketing tactics
Proven ability to accurately forecast demand
Well organised with proficient time management skills and ability to prioritise and multitask with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication both written and verbal
