Dyson Malaysia is currently looking for a qualified Warehouse Material Handler for our team based in MAM, Senai I-Park. You will be responsible for performing tasks such as handling, moving and storing of non-hazardous materials and assisting production shift leader in order to meet deliverables.
About the role
Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse operation in the factory including, but not limited to receiving, putaway, storing, picking, packing, distribution, processing return/scrap material and shipment to ensure consistent high level service quality and customer satisfaction, profitable, cost efficient operations and comply with company policies and procedure and other regulatory guidelines. Ultimately, this role should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Perform warehouse operation of receiving, putaway, storing, picking, packing, distribution, processing return/scrap material and shipment using SAP system and other related system according to establish process and required operation support equipment aligned with safety requirement.
Adhere and compliance of warehouse procedures, rules, regulations and protocols.
Perform shift performance update and shift hand over communication.
Maintain daily housekeeping according to 6S requirement.
Perform daily monitoring activities include check operation support equipment to ensure in good condition for operating and warehouse storage condition meet required specification; escalate to Warehouse Supervisor if non-conformance.
Ensure proper and accurate physical stock identification in place and related document preparation to support stock ownership transfer.
Perform weekly and yearly stock count and reconciling on stock discrepancy using SAP system and other related system according to establish process.
Ensure on time update of all records in system and related tracker while physical document properly file in organize way aligned with retention protocol.
Drive and achieve warehouse operation strategies and KPIs aligned to company blueprint.
Follow up and ensure task given by Supervisor complete within agreed timeline.
Resolve both internal and external issue when required.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse and logistic roles within electronics, semiconductor, hard disk drive or chemical manufacturing industry under LMW environment.
Able to work 12hr shift or Normal shift.
Possess valid forklift license.
Well versed in Health & Safety procedure and protocol.
Knowledge in ISO documentation and requirement is advantageous.
Knowledge of SAP system is required.
Demonstrate warehouse operation best practice knowledge with proven track record.
Attention to details and good follow-up skills.
Knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Effective analytical and planning skills.
Good proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Power Point.
Good interpersonal and communication skill with ability to work with all levels of company staff.
Strong cross functional team skills, inquisitive & proactive.
Able to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to take on challenges with a positive attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Firm and decisive with ability to react at shortest time possible in reaction to issues.
Experience of working in multi-national / multi-lingual teams.
High work ethics & personal integrity.
