Media Activation Executive

About the role 

As a Media Activation Executive, you will be responsible to bring the perfect shopper and owner experience across our media touchpoints and ensure that Dyson Korea is maximizing its return on all media investment by activating the right channels across paid (on/offline), owned and earned media and driving efficiency at scale.

While deploying media planning and execution in collaboration with our media agency, you will ensure that brand KPIs are achieved in conjunction with our sales targets. Establishing close collaboration with both multi-functional internal and external stakeholders, you will be challenging ongoing performance based on data insights and look for new ways to optimize and scale our marketing activities. 


Media executional plan development & activation

  • Translate quarterly & campaign media direction into executional plan (media mix) with the media agency, including but not limited to;

- Defining media objective and strategy

- Translating strategic marketing audience into media target

- Establishing media KPIs for each funnel that align with marketing and business target

- Setting up test & learn milestones that can drive innovation

  • Set up campaigns to ensure marketing activities are delivered on time, to the right target, ensuring flawless end-to-end execution to complete consumer journey
  • Deliver media-driven insights based on quantitative performance and analysis, bringing actionable implication on Dyson’s business

- Applying learnings across paid/earned/owned media

- Recommending creative assets/formats that can maximize effectiveness of our media plans

- Monitoring competitive activities and insights

Manage & grow owned social channels (Instagram, Facebook, Kakao channel)

  • Own the operation of owned social media across all product categories, including development of a monthly social calendar that aligns with overall marketing campaign & media direction
  • Coordinate delivery & adaptation of assets with support from the social agency and internal functions (incl. global/APAC team)
  • Manage IG Shop to ensure its alignment with .com and optimize contents
  • Conduct monthly review with the agency to generate insights from owned media to apply from & to paid and earned media
  • Identify opportunities to scale up influencer/UGC contents
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly social forums and share learnings across APAC teams

Other duties

  • Global, regional reporting as requested.

About you 

  • 2-5 years of solid experiences in media planning & activation
  • Comprehensive understanding of all digital marketing channels, tactics and their roles across both global (i.e. Google, Facebook) and local platforms (i.e. Naver, Daum/Kakako)
  • Experience in working in/with media agencies and media reps
  • Proven ability to analyze post-campaign results
  • Experience using Web analytics tools – i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
  • Experience in social account management, offline media & creative development is a plus
  • Passionate about media and the industry, always looking to learn the most cutting-edge solutions.
  • Well-organized with proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach and attention to detail is a must.
  • Adaptable and flexible mindset to accommodate business needs
  • Strong communication and presentation skills both in English and Korean
  • Energetic and self-starter, able to work as part of a team, but also work independently
