About the role

In this role, you will be part of the Credit team located in Krakow DBS Centre responsible for managing and improving existing Credit management processes in Dyson.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the OTC SME – Credit Manager and interacting with the Market Finance Directors and Sales team on customers credit limit issues and escalations

  • Working with BPO partner to prepare global credit reporting, statistics and trend performance and presents the results to the Credit Manager for review/input

  • Auditing unused insurance covers and propose releasing them as appropriate

  • Participating in all engagements with insurers/brokers to forge productive relationships and endeavour to influence behaviours to meet business needs

  • Managing the internal administrative processes in relation to external partners (e.g. speedy/compliant creation of new vendors, managing PO's, paying premiums, etc.)

  • Supporting commercial business strategies/objectives by driving global strategy on credit as business process owner for OTC

  • Monitoring compliance to GBS Credit Policy and actively trying to find ways to improve it

  • Having thorough understanding of the processes related to the Credit Control.

  • Taking part in the transition of the processes to DBS and ensuring that work is transitioned timely and in line with expectations

  • Ensuring all credit related reporting is meaningful and accompanied by appropriate commentaries that explain results/variances (debtor analysis, compliance monitors, provision calculations/postings, DSO)

About you

Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or similar role in a global organization

  • University degree (Business / Finance / Economy / Management)

  • Strong knowledge of credit related accountancy practices, financial controls and compliance obligations/audit requirements

  • Ability to analyse financial and operating statistics and provide meaningful feedback

  • Professional credit risk certification will be an asset

  • Experience of governing credit risk in an evolving high-pressure environment

  • Clear and concise communication (verbal and written) with the ability to forge effective/collaborative relationships throughout the business, with business partners and with external contacts alike

  • A knowledge of SAP S4 HANA will be an asset
