Joining our centre of excellence team in our EMEA Headquarters in Amsterdam, you will gain exposure to all functions, as well as working closely with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
About the role
Reporting to our Senior Legal Counsel EMEA, you will have an active role within our committed team enabling Dyson’s commercial success. You will be contributing towards the provision of the following legal services:
Supporting the EMEA Regional Legal team, helping to navigate complex issues
Co-ordinating multi-jurisdictional legal advice by managing external counsel and internal stakeholders
Helping to prepare and update risk assessments, proposals, project plans and status updates on all material projects and risk areas identified by the relevant legal team
Owning and driving projects through to completion – collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and timely execution
Assisting team members with: Drafting and reviewing: policies, commercial contracts, lease agreements and marketing materials
Reviewing and advising on:
- Changes to and implementation of consumer law across the EMEA region;
- Competition law application and implementation across the EMEA region;
Administration, including fielding legal correspondence, supporting on the production and delivery of reports to the business, supporting on external counsel spend management and electronic file management
Carrying out research into various legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
About you
You will be passionate about what you do with around one to three years’ experience within a large business environment or at a reputable law firm. You will:
Be fluent in English (verbally and in writing)
Have excellent communication skills
Have a law degree or equivalent
Have familiarity with general commercial documents
Have familiarity with electronic document management and filing systems
Have superior research skills
Have advanced experience in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
