The Performance Marketing Executive plays a pivotal role within the SEA Marketing team, working closely with our market and eCommerce teams to drive revenue with efficient paid media activations. You will be part of an in-house team with the expertise in optimising Search & other paid media to deliver dotcom revenue.
This role sits within the SEA Marketing team and will report to the Senior Marketing Manager for the MYIDPH cluster within SEA.
About the Role
Key Accountabilities
1. Running of Search accounts
- SEA is currently the only region which runs Search in-house in all markets.
- You will work closely with our existing performance marketing analyst to set up and optimize our ads to drive revenue.
Responsibilities include:
- Forecasting, tracking and management of budgets and revenue
- Daily tracking of key metrics e.g. CPCs, impression share, CTRs
- Managing bid strategies
2. Forecasting and traffic for eCommerce
- Work closely with our Marketing and eCommerce teams to build monthly forecasts and plans
- Align with agencies and Google to ensure that we are exploring new opportunities to maximize returns.
- Test relevant alphas/betas and work with the relevant local / global partners to ensure that projects are implemented in a timely fashion.
3. Other revenue driving activities
- Work with our media agency partner and Centre of Excellence (COE) team to construct a re-targeting strategy that delivers a positive ROI across other channels, such as Meta and Display
- Manage partners and execute on affiliate marketing plans
- Over the course of 2023, determine the optimum media mix to drive a positive ROI
4. Analysis & reporting
- Regular analysis and reporting to the working teams and senior stakeholders.
- These include bi-weekly and monthly performance reports and competitor analysis.
About You
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- The candidate will have up to 3 years’ experience of managing and activating Search to drive ecommerce transactions online.
- Advanced knowledge and hands-on activation and platform experience specifically for Search (Google Ads, SA360 etc). Other Digital activation and platform experience is a plus (Facebook, Tiktok, DV360 etc).
- Highly proficient in Google Analytics 360; Adobe Analytics is a plus.
- Strong performance experience in search and driving positive business results especially for e-commerce clients with high ticket value.
- Good knowledge of audience segmentation and strategy, media planning and acquisition marketing.
- Good understanding of marketing channel attribution, measurement, frameworks, and key business metrics and objectives.
- Problem solving ability to analyse data and draw data-driven insights that will affect change and decision-making across the business
- Able to work effectively as an individual and is also a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change
- Passion for generating innovative ideas from these insights to impact campaign performance.
- Experience in analytics with exposure to paid media
- Passionate for and in tune with the latest digital media trends
