About the role
The Performance Media Manager will require a strong performance mentality with a focus on ongoing improvements to push sales through our digital channels. Equally, given the structure and style of Dyson, it will entail the development of strong bridges across the business, working closely with the range of key partners while also inspiring and galvanizing them to deliver. We are looking for a talented digital sales person who can support us to achieve our targets.
This role will work closely with a network of marketing and e-commerce colleagues based in Dyson’s global and local functions to help shape the right category plans to drive success in Spain. They will help to define and deliver the commercial strategy for their category, within the context of overall Spanish growth strategy and Dyson’s global category ambitions.
Main accountabilities:
Lead performance channels together with our local and international media agency working closely with our e-commerce team
Strategic lead in all search channels working closely with channel specialists and media agency
Responsible for budget and reporting in close collaboration with Head of Marketing
Monitor performance and KPI’s daily to ensure we continually achieve and exceed targets while maintaining a positive return on our investment
Deliver ongoing deep dives to continually improve the channel performance, and lead the work stream with the agency to deliver and report on outcomes
Develop and maintain the digital marketing forecast to deliver each digital channel’s budget, aligned to the Direct and Marketing budget
Use industry and competitor analysis data and tools to assess the full potential of paid media
Manage a team of 3 people
About you
High affinity to digital business, with a strong performance media background
High level of English (both written and oral)
Over 5 years experience in performance media position on either the client or agency side
Experience of planning and evaluating marketing campaigns, including paid digital campaigns; outline clear KPIs and performance measurements for success specific to each campaign
Proven track record of improving paid media ROI and implementing best practices
Strong knowledge in Google Analytics, AdWords and Facebook Business Manager
Collaborative and able to build great relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to manage external agencies on a project basis
